I don’t really know. I've never baked. I can cook basic things but I thought since I like to eat baked things that making them would be good.

[ With his dragonstone back, Alear can actually fly onto Rafal's balcony at night to leave him some holiday presents:

- Dragon-shaped X-mas cookies
- A necklace with two dragons and a ruby heart because he lacks subtlety.
- An an equally un-subtle bomber jacket.

He'll also take a small nap while he's there. Why not? ]

gifts are . . . new to him. sometimes alear gave him knickknacks in the somniel, but rafal knew he did that for all his friends. this was different. it felt special.

he spots alear napping and while his instincts are to play a prank like he used to, he simply brushes some of alear's hair back and presses a kiss to his cheek. ]

[ The kiss makes him twitch before Alear jerks awake, looking sleep-rumpled and out of sorts. It takes him a few extra seconds to reorient himself before he throws his arms around Rafal, kissing him. ]

Happy whatever holiday this is! I was waiting for you...though I don't know how much time had passed. It still looks kind of dark outside.
